Grease Removers Recalled Due to Chemical Burn Hazard

Fantastic Distributors, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), voluntarily recalled 245,000 “Bagi Shumanit” Super Cold Grease Removers.

The products lack required warning labels and special packaging to warn consumers’ that direct contact with the product can result in burns to the eyes and skin.

To date, the company has not received any reports of injury associated with the recalled products.

The recall involves “Bagi Shumanit” Super cold Grease Remover in 26.4 fl oz bottles. The product is intended to clean grease from ovens and cooking surfaces.

Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the product and to dispose of the remaining contents carefully. Consumers can then take the empty bottle to the store of purchase for a refund.
