CBB Group Inc., in conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a voluntary toy recall of 40,000 Fishing Games, Rattles, Pull-A-Long Cars, Cartoon Bubble Guns and Mini Pull Back Cars.
The fishing games, baby rattles and pull-a-long cars were recalled because they contain small parts which pose a choking risk to small children. And the mini pull back cars and bubble guns have surface paints which contain excessive levels of lead. Lead can be toxic if ingested by small children.
The agency advises consumers to take the recalled toys away from small children immediately and to return them to the store where they were purchased to receive a full refund.
To date, the company has not received injury reports associated with the recall.
