It's not bad enough that you've been in a car accident, have been injured, and have also been out of work. Now, with the help of neuropsychologists, the insurance industry has come up with yet another "fool proof" way to prove you're a "faker"

As reported by the Wall Street Journal, the "Fake Bad Scale" is being used by neuropsychologists in court testifying as expert witnesses. However, some psychologists say the test is "branding" truthful people as liars...and may even discriminate against women. James Butcher, a retired University of Minnesota psychologist says that almost everyone is a faker according to the test. "This is great for insurance companies, but not great for people", he says.

Future court battles will decide whether or not there is any scientific validity to the test. Until then, the insurance industry has another tool at their disposal to attempt to diminish or defeat your claim.
