    Mattel, in cooperation with CPSC, announced a voluntary recall of Barbie accessory toys due to excessive levels of lead in the surface paint. Lead is toxic and if ingested by small children it can cause adverse health effects.Product numbers, model names and date codes of the recalled toys can be found on Mattel's website.
